Salary: $21 - $26 per hour

What you will do

• Provide high-quality customer service to patients and healthcare providers regarding specimen submissions and laboratory results.
• Manage high-volume incoming calls and electronic inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate medical kit shipments and manage client supply orders.
• Review and process consent forms, medical hold forms, and other inbound documentation.
• Collaborate with technical staff and other departments to resolve customer issues.
• Educate clients on general billing and non-billing related laboratory policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• Availability for 8-hour shifts between 8:00am and 8:00pm EST, Monday through Friday.
• Knowledge of medical terminology for clear communication with healthcare professionals.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and de-escalate conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Experience and focus for working within a remote setting.

Nice to have

• 1-3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, physician's office, healthcare, insurance, or billing customer service.
• Bilingual proficiency.
