What you will do

• Define the enterprise data architecture roadmap aligned with strategic business objectives.
• Architect modern lakehouse platforms using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
• Design canonical data models, entity relationships, and standards for schema evolution and semantic layers.
• Define ingestion and transformation patterns, including orchestration using tools such as Airflow.
• Implement bronze/silver/gold layering strategies for structured, trusted, and scalable data pipelines.
• Mentor senior engineers and act as a thought leader to influence architecture and best practices across teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience architecting enterprise-scale data platforms (lakehouse, data mesh, or hybrid).
• Strong expertise in Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark/PySpark, and orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Deep understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.
• Strong programming skills in SQL and Python for prototyping and validation.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, lineage, and data quality frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills to translate architectural concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Kinesis, Step Functions).
