Salary: $186,000 - $225,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do
- Lead the evaluation, implementation, and adoption of dbt for the largest enterprise and commercial customers.
- Design enterprise-grade data pipelines using dbt Cloud.
- Guide customers through proof-of-concept (POC) implementations and product trials.
- Collaborate with engineering to deploy dbt Cloud in private clouds for enterprise clients.
- Own the full customer lifecycle from pre-sale evaluation to product adoption and expansion.
- Partner with companies like Snowflake, AWS, and Databricks to enable dbt implementation for their clients.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting within data operations, analytics, or BI.
- Strong technical background in SQL, ETL, and data modeling.
- Deep understanding of modern data warehousing architectures.
- Ability to translate technical and business requirements into concrete solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with dbt or working at an analytics/ETL/BI or open-source software company.
- Experience with data modeling methods such as Dimensional, Data Vault, Kimball, or 3NF.
- Familiarity with traditional enterprise ETL tooling like Informatica, Boomi, or Talend.
