Salary: $23.50 - $25.50 per hour

What you will do

• Respond to patient and provider billing inquiries via phone and email with professional service.
• Manage inbound calls, tickets, and outbound communications on a rotational schedule.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, processing payments, refunds, and adjustments.
• Coordinate with insurance companies to obtain information for prior authorizations and claim submissions.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient information within billing systems.
• Collaborate with finance and customer service teams to ensure seamless billing operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate degree preferred).
• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional and calm in stressful or difficult situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to commute to the Gaithersburg, MD office full-time.

Nice to have

• 1 year of experience in billing, customer support, or a healthcare setting.
• Bilingual skills.
• Experience with billing software such as Xifin, Careviso, or Salesforce.
