What you will do
- Manage patient cases to facilitate access to therapy and maintain ongoing compliance.
- Act as a liaison between medical offices, specialty pharmacies, and insurance companies.
- Resolve complex reimbursement issues, including prior authorizations and appeals.
- Counsel patients and families on reimbursement options and transitions to therapy.
- Maintain accurate patient case histories within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers and Field Reimbursement Directors to manage assigned territories.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Healthcare related field preferred.
- 4+ years of case management experience in patient support or healthcare management (biopharma/rare disease preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong understanding of patient support services and complex reimbursement scenarios.
- Professionalism and compassion when providing customer resolution over the phone.
- Experience working with CRM platforms and patient databases.
