TL;DR

Founding Account Executive (Fintech): Establishing the initial go-to-market strategy and managing the full-cycle sales process for a modern debt collection platform with an accent on ICP definition, pipeline management, and revenue growth. Focus on closing deals, iterating sales playbooks, and scaling the sales organization from the ground up.

Location: Remote (Must be US-based)

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualifying to demoing and closing.
  • Define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), refine messaging, and develop sales playbooks.
  • Collaborate with leadership, product, and customer success teams to guide the product roadmap.
  • Manage pipeline and forecast deals using HubSpot.
  • Execute outbound campaigns, cold calls, and attend events to drive growth.
  • Establish the foundation for a scalable sales organization, including tools and early hiring.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in full-cycle sales, preferably within a technical SaaS or startup environment.
  • Must be based in the US.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical products for non-technical buyers.
  • Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with consultative selling and a focus on customer outcomes.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with SMB/vertical SaaS, payments, or fintech.
  • Previous experience in the debt collections industry.
