Associate Infrastructure Support Engineer (Cloud)

Location: Hybrid in Bucharest, Romania (required in-office presence of about 3 days per week)

What you will do

• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production incidents and prepare reports to prevent future occurrences.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding incident status and resolution steps.
• Write code for infrastructure and observability in collaboration with developers and SREs.
• Develop and maintain incident response runbooks and documentation.
• Monitor product performance against business KPIs and take corrective actions.
• Implement latest technology trends from the hirify.global Technology Radar.

Requirements

• Less than one year of professional experience in technology.
• Basic understanding of networking and at least one public cloud platform (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Willingness to participate in a rotating 24/7 support team.
• Must be based in Bucharest, Romania.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Linux.
• Curiosity and basic knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and observability.
