What you will do

• Design and build reliable, scalable services for the pricing domain within the Athene programme.
• Make key implementation decisions to ensure long-term system reliability and maintainability.
• Translate complex business requirements into high-quality technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Lead by example in engineering best practices, test discipline, and code quality.
• Drive consistency across applications by following agreed architectural guidelines.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the long-term technical direction of the core business domain.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of professional software development experience in agile environments.
• Strong technical proficiency in C# or Java.
• Deep knowledge of engineering principles such as SOLID, DRY, KISS, clean architecture, and design patterns.
• Solid understanding of testing strategies including unit, integration, and E2E tests.
• Must be able to work from the office in Viby J, Denmark.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, or event-driven architecture.
• Experience with API-first design.
• Knowledge of pricing engines, rule-based systems, or data-intensive applications.
