TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (C#/Azure): Developing and improving investment management solutions for SimCorp Dimension and the Azure cloud with an accent on backend, mid-tier, web technologies, and automated testing. Focus on designing complex architectures, building cloud infrastructure and pipelines, and delivering functionality in international Scrum teams.
Location: Bad Homburg, Germany; hybrid workplace model

What you will do
- Develop new functionality and continuously improve the existing code base for Dimension and Azure cloud solutions.
- Contribute across the full development lifecycle, including user stories, design, development, testing, code reviews, automated tests, and support.
- Work with backend, mid-tier, and web frontend technologies.
- Collaborate with international Scrum teams to deliver sprint commitments and meet the definition of done.
- Engage with Product Managers, internal stakeholders, external stakeholders, and clients to understand needs and gather feedback.
- Apply modern engineering practices such as test-driven development, pair programming, and mob programming.
Requirements
- Programming experience with C# and the .NET Framework.
- Knowledge of cloud services, infrastructure, pipelines, and architecture, preferably with Azure.
- Familiarity with Azure Bicep, Azure CLI, PowerShell, Bash, modern web technologies, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with automated testing and developing complex architecture.
- Interest in or experience with APL.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field; strong spoken and written English is required.
