What you will do
- Lead design and development of backend systems primarily in APL, transitioning toward C#/.NET and Azure cloud-native solutions.
- Architect scalable, secure, high-performance solutions and drive technical excellence through code reviews and agile practices.
- Mentor engineers, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and deliver client outcomes with fast feedback and reliable code.
- Implement unit/integration testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows to maintain code quality and performance.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks/bugs, partner across cross-located teams, and understand client-specific requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience with strong C#/.NET backend systems (APIs, services, integrations).
- Proficiency in object-oriented design, architecture patterns, Git, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with REST/streaming APIs and messaging concepts; excellent problem-solving and communication skills for international collaboration.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn APL (training provided).

- FinTech or regulated-industry experience.
- Exposure to vector-based or functional languages.
