Salary: $120,000 – $185,000

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of unit and integration tests for mission-critical Go applications in the Identity space.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure security, performance, and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Architect and maintain containerized testing environments using Docker and Tart VMs to ensure CI/CD stability.
• Develop complex automation tools and helper utilities using Go and advanced Bash scripting.
• Apply IAM principles (authentication, authorization, provisioning) to ensure comprehensive security and compliance coverage.
• Influence team-wide engineering standards to improve the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of the final product.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Go (Golang).
• Proven experience building scalable testing frameworks and comprehensive Unit and Integration tests.
• Demonstrable experience working within Identity or Security domains.
• High proficiency in Bash scripting and operating in Linux/macOS environments.
• Must be eligible for US-based employment benefits (401k, medical, dental, vision).

Nice to have

• Experience with identity management tools such as Okta or Authentik.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes (K8s) and AWS IAM.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture principles.
• Proficiency in Python or Ruby for tooling and scripting.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS.
• Familiarity with Identity protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM).
