Salary: $23.40 - $36.80 per hour

What you will do

• Create and update policies for the patent and trademark programs.
• Identify and review patentable inventions and perform patent analysis.
• Support the review of artificial intelligence functionality and address AI issues in contract negotiations.
• Support litigation and indemnification matters.
• Conduct legal research on regulatory developments and prepare detailed summaries.
• Collaborate with in-house attorneys, outside counsel, and engineering groups.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an ABA-accredited law school.
• Interest in intellectual property with completed relevant coursework.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent written and oral communication.
• Ability to work full-time for the complete summer duration (May-August or June-September).
• Experience in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical field is a plus.
