What you will do

• Act as the technical authority for HashiCorp hybrid/multi-cloud solutions in the ANZ region.
• Execute targeted sales plays in collaboration with Focus Partners to build pipeline and drive conversion.
• Guide partners and customers through Proof of Values (PoV) and Proof of Concepts (PoC) to ensure technical wins.
• Drive technical awareness and adoption through developer events, interactive demos, and digital content.
• Manage the adoption-retention-expansion flywheel using telemetry to identify risks and propose mitigations.
• Act as the primary feedback loop between customers and global product teams to influence roadmaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 5+ years of experience in developer advocacy, technical pre-sales, or senior engineering/CTO roles.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including cloud migrations and infrastructure cost optimization.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, API-driven development, Go, and Python.
• Strong communication skills for delivering keynotes, technical workshops, and digital content to large audiences.
• Must be based in Melbourne, Australia.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of HashiCorp tools (Vault, Terraform, Consul, Nomad).
• Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, version control systems, logging, and monitoring.
• Experience building technical enablement playbooks for regional partners and system integrators.
• Experience with GenAI tooling and ecosystems.
