Senior Electrical Engineer (Water/Wastewater)

What you will do

• Lead electrical design for water and wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance on client standards and expectations to engineering and technician staff.
• Serve as a technical expert in electrical power distribution and plant systems for client consultations.
• Support business development and build strong professional relationships with clients.
• Conduct energy optimization studies, power system coordination, and arc flash hazard analysis.
• Coordinate with local electrical utilities and review supplier submittals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 11 years of related work experience in electrical design, planning, and construction services.
• Professional Engineer’s (PE) license in TX or another US jurisdiction.
• Experience in medium and low voltage power distribution equipment, including VFDs and standby diesel generators.
• Experience in a client-facing or business development role.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding, including background checks and drug screens.

Nice to have

• Consulting and specific Water/Wastewater industry experience.
• Power system analysis experience using SKM, ETAP, or similar software.
