Custody Operations Specialist (Fintech): Supporting asset conversion plans and onboarding to the client’s platform with an accent on trust accounting and trade settlement. Focus on performing reconciliations of invested assets and coordinating plan transitions between internal teams and external record keepers.

What you will do

• Review and record cash and in-kind asset transfers within the trust accounting system.
• Settle trades for mutual funds, stable value funds, and ETFs through collaboration with sub-custodians.
• Perform timely reconciliations of invested assets and cash activity between internal systems and sub-custodians.
• Coordinate with Implementation Managers and Investment teams to transition new and qualified plans onto the platform.
• Manage the liquidation and transfer of plan assets in coordination with receiving record keepers.
• Maintain client data in CRM systems and support the creation of written operating procedures.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of how mutual funds, stable value funds, and ETFs trade and settle.
• High aptitude for numerical data and traditional securities reconciliations.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• High degree of organization and ability to manage client expectations and prioritize tasks.
• Availability to work US Eastern Time (7:30am - 4:30pm).

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, Zendesk, and Jira.
• General knowledge of ERISA rules and requirements.
• Experience with compliance or record-keeping systems such as SunGard Relius, ASC, or FIS.
