What you will do
- Manage the East Grocery business end-to-end, serving as the primary point of accountability for strategy, execution, and P&L results.
- Lead buyer relationships across Kroger, Publix, Harris Teeter, and Wegmans to ensure strategic alignment.
- Execute flawless product launches, including merchandising strategy and promotional plans.
- Build a pipeline of incremental opportunities such as void closures, distribution expansion, and secondary placements.
- Optimize promo planning and conduct post-event analysis to maximize contribution margin.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Marketing to ensure accurate forecasting and OTIF execution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of CPG sales experience, including at least 2 years calling on major grocery retailers.
- Must be based in the US to support regional retail partners.
- Proven experience in expanding distribution and executing off-shelf programs (endcaps, features).
- Strong financial acumen, specifically regarding margin math and direct vs. distributor delivery models.
- Ability to synthesize SPINS and retailer data into compelling sell-in stories.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides for modeling and presentations.
