Custody Operations Specialist (Finance): Supporting conversion plans and onboarding processes for a client platform with an accent on trust accounting and asset management. Focus on reconciling invested assets, settling trades for mutual funds and ETFs, and ensuring data accuracy in CRM systems.

Location: Philippines. Working hours: US Eastern Time (7:30am - 4:30pm)

Salary: $5 per hour (approx. $800 per month)

What you will do

• Review and record cash and in-kind asset transfers within trust accounting systems.
• Coordinate with sub-custodians to settle trades for mutual funds, stable value funds, and ETFs.
• Perform detailed reconciliations of invested assets and cash activity by strict deadlines.
• Collaborate with Implementation Managers and Investment teams to transition new plans onto the platform.
• Manage the liquidation and transfer of plan assets in coordination with receiving record keepers.
• Maintain client data in CRM systems and develop written operating procedures for assigned functions.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of the trading and settlement processes for mutual funds, ETFs, and stable value funds.
• Strong numerical aptitude and experience with securities reconciliations.
• Ability to prioritize complex tasks and manage external stakeholder expectations.
• Must be based in the Philippines.
• Must be available to work US Eastern Time (7:30am - 4:30pm).

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, Zendesk, and Jira.
• General knowledge of ERISA rules and requirements.
• Experience with compliance or record-keeping systems such as SunGard Relius, ASC, or FIS.
