Fund Specialist (Global Fund Analytics)

TL;DR

Fund Specialist (Global Fund Analytics): Applying investment knowledge and primary source research to classify funds and write descriptive reports on ETFs and Mutual Funds with an accent on consistent, unbiased classification and system enhancements. Focus on acting as a subject matter expert for the Manila office and mentoring junior team members.

Location: Manila, Philippines (One Le Grand Tower). Must be willing to undergo training for 3-5 months in a GY Shift (10:00pm-6:00am).

What you will do

• Classify funds using proprietary methodology.
• Compose overviews and brief descriptions of fund characteristics.
• Respond to client queries regarding classifications and descriptive text.
• Actively contribute ideas for process and output improvements.
• Manage assigned workload independently within stipulated timelines.
• Train junior team members as the role advances.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Communication, or Journalism.
• Strong written English language communication skills.
• Attention to detail and diligence to task.
• Ability to collaborate and seek feedback from supervisors.
• Willingness to work with remote managers.
• Willingness to undergo training for 3-5 months in a GY Shift (10:00pm-6:00am).

Nice to have

• CFA designation or progress towards CFA.
• Experience in or understanding of ETFs and Mutual Funds.
