Conversions Operations Specialist

TL;DR

Conversions Operations Specialist (Finance): Review and record asset transfers, settle trades, and perform reconciliations for client onboarding to the platform with an accent on trust accounting, sub-custodian coordination, and timeline adherence. Focus on coordinating transitions with implementation managers, updating CRM data, and maintaining operating procedures.

Location: Philippines, US Eastern Time (7:30am - 4:30pm)

What you will do

• Review and record cash and in-kind asset transfers in the trust accounting system
• Work with sub-custodians to settle trades for mutual funds, stable value funds, and ETFs
• Perform reconciliations of invested assets and cash activity between systems by deadlines
• Coordinate with Implementation Managers and Investment teams to transition plans onto the platform
• Coordinate with record keepers to liquidate and transfer plan assets
• Update, maintain, and review client data in CRM systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet timelines and support operating procedures

Requirements

• Good understanding of how mutual funds, stable value funds, and ETFs trade and settle
• Strong aptitude for numbers and understanding of cash and securities reconciliations
• Affinity for learning, creating, and iterating rapidly
• Proactive, analytical problem-solving with high organization and dependability
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage client expectations

Nice to have

• Experience with collaboration, project management, and CRM tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, Zendesk, Jira
• General knowledge of ERISA rules and experience with compliance/record-keeping systems (e.g., SunGard Relius, ASC, FIS)
