What you will do

  • Oversee the successful termination and deconversion of standard plans across all segments.
  • Act as the primary project manager and point of contact for Plan Sponsors, Financial Advisors, and Third-Party Administrators.
  • Coordinate timing, outstanding items, and critical tasks through regular conference calls with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Educate clients on service agreements, contracts, and product features regarding liquidation restrictions and administrative duties.
  • Review participant conversion data to mitigate the risk of financial loss due to errors.
  • Manage the end-to-end plan shut-down process, including blackout procedures, liquidation, and final file submission.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business or equivalent related experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in deconversion, plan termination, or related financial work.
  • Proficient knowledge of IRS codes (457, 401(k), 403(b), 401(a), etc.).
  • Strong understanding of IRS/DOL reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
