Payroll Accountant

What you will do

• Process full-cycle payroll for employees and contractors, including registers and timely payments
• Reconcile payroll accounts monthly (salaries, taxes, accruals)
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Operations on hires, terminations, changes, and leave
• Prepare payroll reports for management and submit tax reports per local legislation
• Maintain documentation and support audits/tax inspections
• Participate in payroll process improvements and automation

Requirements

• Practical experience in full-cycle payroll calculation
• Experience with payroll tax reporting and statutory filings
• Experience with vacation/sick leave calculations and termination settlements
• Practical experience with payroll modules in ERP systems
• Strong skills in payroll accounts reconciliation
• Excel — Advanced
• English — B1+

Nice to have

• Experience with payroll reporting in Cyprus
• Experience using AI tools in work processes
• Experience with process automation and payroll reporting optimization
