Accountant Specialist

TL;DR

Accountant Specialist (Finance): Perform general ledger accounting, handle intercompany transactions and fixed asset processes with an accent on month-end closings, reconciliations, and compliance with standards. Location: Érd, Hungary (hybrid, 60% home office). Willingness to travel abroad 4-5 times a year.

What you will do

• Perform general ledger accounting and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
• Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements
• Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation processes
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements
• Contribute to process improvements and support junior team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in Shared Service environment
• Strong ERP expertise (SAP preferable)
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word)
• English language knowledge (German advantage)
• Ability to work in a team, customer orientation, good communication skills
