What you will do

• Lead the planning and implementation of manufacturing processes, including SMT, welding, soldering, and conformal coating.
• Ensure all Manufacturing Processes (MPs), control plans, and work instructions comply with ISO/AS9100 requirements.
• Manage engineering support for New Product Introductions (NPIs), ensuring DFM and ECO deliverables are met on time.
• Identify and eliminate root causes of process defects using structured problem-solving tools like 8D, 5 why, and DMAIC.
• Analyze yield, scrap, and downtime data to identify trends and lead productivity improvement projects.
• Interface with customers, executives, and cross-functional teams to meet performance goals.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Engineering Management, preferably within an electronics environment.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required due to ITAR regulations.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.
• Strong proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SPC.
• Experience working with Factory Logix MES and Oracle ERP systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with optical systems or lasers.
• Experience with Electrical Test solutions.
