Quality Engineer

Location: Apex, NC (onsite, full-time)

Salary: $56,430–115,000 annually

What you will do

• Create processes to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and ISO requirements.
• Investigate and resolve customer and internal quality issues using problem-solving techniques and corrective actions.
• Recommend improvements based on quality risk assessments of products and processes.
• Collaborate with Design Group to mitigate potential quality risks and create quality plans for new products.
• Track and analyze inspection data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives like Kaizen events and defect reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred, not software).
• Minimum 2 years in quality role or 4 years in manufacturing environment.
• Experience with EU, UL, CE Marking compliance.
• Skills in continuous improvement methodologies (DMAIC, 8D, A3).
• Technical problem-solving on electro-mechanical systems.
• Strong data analysis, project management, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.
• Experience in ISO 13485:2016 compliant system.
