What you will do

• Create and manage complex 3D models and 2D drawings using PTC CREO for sheet metal, machined components, and assemblies.
• Apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5), lead design reviews for manufacturability (DFM/DFMA), and manage CAD data in Windchill PLM and BOMs in SAP.
• Develop validation plans including dimensional analysis, functional testing, and durability assessments.
• Perform root cause analysis using 8D, DMAIC, Ishikawa on production issues, field returns, or supplier defects.
• Lead Kaizen events, PFMEA reviews, and continuous improvement to enhance product reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with global engineering, supply chain, and metrology teams.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. institution.
• 5+ years in mechanical design, product engineering, or quality engineering.
• High proficiency in CREO Parametric and GD&T application.
• Familiarity with validation testing, inspection methods, and product quality tools.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Experience with Windchill PLM and SAP ERP (ECR/ECN processes).
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project.
• Background in high-stakes manufacturing environment.
