What you will do

  • Lead the Risk Detection team, focusing on License Plate Recognition (LPR) and Automatic Subject Recognition (ASR) capabilities.
  • Partner with product and cross-stream stakeholders to plan and deliver high-impact features.
  • Drive a culture of pragmatic engineering quality in systems where accuracy, latency, and reliability are critical.
  • Guide architectural decisions toward more scalable, resilient, and service-oriented patterns.
  • Mentor and coach engineers to foster a culture of accountability and technical excellence.
  • Implement AI tooling (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate delivery and improve engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, React, TypeScript, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and managing performance.
  • Ability to distill complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Interest or experience in leveraging AI tools and LLMs to enhance engineering practices and workflows.
  • Strategic mindset regarding scalability, performance, and maintainability of systems.
  • Skill in navigating trade-offs between immediate value and long-term technical health.
