What you will do

• Design and integrate structural components and mechanical parts for consumer electronics.
• Develop mechanical assemblies and detailed enclosures for new product development.
• Analyze parts and assemblies for manufacturability, including interference checks, wall thickness, and draft angles.
• Maintain and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) and detailed design documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners to transition products from concept to mass production.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing consumer electronics with a professional portfolio.
• Deep understanding of mass production technologies, including plastic injection molding and metal processing.
• Proficiency in CAD systems (Siemens NX preferred) and PDM systems (Siemens Teamcenter preferred).
• Knowledge of top-down/bottom-up design, tolerances, fits, and additive/subtractive prototyping.
• Understanding of physical processes such as heating, thermal expansion, and radio signal transmission.

Nice to have

• Experience in performing structural and thermal analysis.
• Advanced proficiency with Siemens NX and Siemens Teamcenter.
• Experience developing adaptive parametric models and preparing test procedures.
