What you will do

• Manage daily rearing processes for research organisms, including preparing media and performing specimen transfers.
• Oversee greenhouse operations such as seeding, potting, watering, and monitoring for pests.
• Maintain meticulous data forms and tracking logs to ensure the integrity of the research lifecycle.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile research workspace.
• Handle and move laboratory supplies and materials weighing up to 40 lbs.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Biology, Agriculture, or a related field preferred (High School Diploma with significant experience considered).
• Proven experience with insect rearing/handling or professional greenhouse care.
• Experience following strict research protocols and maintaining sterile environments.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.
• Flexibility to work a rotating weekend and holiday schedule to ensure specimen care.
