Senior Data Engineer (Proptech)

What you will do

• Build and scale streaming pipelines ingesting 400M+ monthly MLS updates across 350+ integrations using Airflow, Spark Streaming, Kafka, and Iceberg.
• Develop and maintain production-grade real estate datasets with a focus on data modeling and transformation logic.
• Implement and improve data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting systems to reduce downstream impact.
• Contribute to AI-driven tooling to triage, debug, and resolve data quality issues.
• Collaborate with product, design, and executive stakeholders to align technical decisions with long-term business value.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional data engineering or software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in distributed data processing and streaming systems (Spark/PySpark, Kafka).
• Proficiency in Python (Pydantic preferred) and familiarity with Node/TypeScript.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines on AWS using Airflow, Spark Streaming, and Iceberg.
• Proven track record leading high-impact initiatives in a SaaS environment with multi-tenant architectures.
• Must be based in Latin America (LATAM).
