Senior Process Engineer (Engineering)

What you will do

• Monitor KPIs and develop data-driven countermeasures for process deviations.
• Optimize automated manufacturing processes, including welding systems and torque tooling applications.
• Manage capital projects, procure specialized tools, and implement plant layout improvements using AutoCAD.
• Lead PFMEA reviews and actively identify and mitigate process risks throughout production systems.
• Collaborate across departments to improve axle assembly operations and support new program launches.
• Mentor production staff in diagnostic and problem-solving methods.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Proficiency in corrective action and problem-solving tools such as 8D or Five-Why.
• Experience with Lean/TPS and statistical data analysis (capability studies, time studies).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor.
• Must be located in or able to work onsite in Dry Ridge, KY, US.

Nice to have

• PLC, Controls knowledge or programming skills.
• Bachelor’s degree.
