What you will do

• Manage the 4Ms of operation: Material, Manning, Machines, and Methods.
• Directly supervise, lead, and train hourly employees, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Organize shift production and formulate plans to meet approved schedules and targeted control levels.
• Establish and maintain standard processing procedures while ensuring strict compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain safe working conditions and implement housekeeping practices to ensure a clean environment.
• Collaborate with maintenance, process engineering, and vendors to optimize equipment uptime and performance.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Griffin, GA, US.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a mechanical shop environment (e.g., paper mill or fab shop).
• High school diploma required; 4-year degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of formal quality systems such as ISO, QIT, or TQM.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• English: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge and experience with Paper Machine Roll Maintenance and Operation.
• Experience with disassembly, repair, and assembly of plain press and suction paper rolls.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and their implementation.
