What you will do

• Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware by crafting manufacturing BOMs and work instructions.
• Support Manufacturing Engineers in executing work orders, including nonconformance disposition, redlining, and BOM reconciliation.
• Oversee the creation and revision of manufacturing plans to ensure proper structure for MRP systems.
• Maintain and communicate manufacturing engineering metrics and production schedules.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce build time and enhance safety and quality.

Requirements

• Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle structures, or automotive manufacturing.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering processes and planning systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals and GD&T.
• Proficiency in CAD software and standard office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building flight hardware.
• Associate degree or trade school certification in a related discipline.
• Six Sigma Black Belt & Lean Manufacturing Certification.
• Experience with the design or production of launch vehicles, spacecraft, or satellites.
• Proficiency with Creo or CATIA V5.
