What you will do

• Lead plant operations including production, safety, shipping, and maintenance to meet output, cost, quality, and compliance goals.
• Supervise plant personnel through hiring, training, evaluations, and development.
• Monitor KPIs for efficiency, yield, downtime, and waste reduction.
• Oversee maintenance strategies, budgets, and hazardous materials handling.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Collaborate with R&D, EHS, procurement, and quality for product introduction and process enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7–10 years in chemical manufacturing, including 3–5 years in plant/operations management.
• Strong knowledge of chemical processing, OSHA, EPA, PSM, DOT, NFPA regulations.
• Experience leading teams in hazardous environments and using ERP/MRP systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills; knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma.

Nice to have

• Experience with batch processing systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory audits and ISO 9001.
