What you will do

• Define the long-term technical roadmap, architecture, and standards for the Platform team to ensure scale and resiliency.
• Remain actively hands-on by contributing to critical design reviews and shipping code.
• Oversee the implementation of complex distributed systems capable of handling massive transactional volumes.
• Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing engineering organization of senior and principal engineers.
• Collaborate with customers to gather technical feedback and ensure platform performance meets integration requirements.
• Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices and AI models to enhance platform efficiency and security.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering management experience leading multiple teams in time-sensitive environments.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in backend development and architecting secure distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in Crypto/Web3, Financial Services, or high-security authentication platforms.
• Demonstrated experience scaling platforms to support millions of users and high throughput.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and AWS infrastructure.
• Must be eligible to work from the NYC HQ.
