Technology Strategy Associate

TL;DR

Technology Strategy Associate (AI/Data/Tech): Perform strategic advisory services to address business challenges in client technology organizations with an accent on assessments, roadmaps, and enterprise IT strategy. Focus on developing value-add recommendations, financial models, and business cases for technology transformations and operating model improvements.

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Consistent with the firm’s hybrid work model, this position will require in-person attendance at least three days per week, either at a GT office or client site. Expected travel up to 40%.

What you will do

• Perform strategic assessments of client technology environments against best practices and maturity models.
• Develop recommendations, roadmaps, and business cases for IT strategy, application portfolio, cloud, and operations.
• Assist with proposal development, opportunity scoping, and presentations for business development.
• Analyze complex data, build financial models, and drive strategic initiatives using first principles thinking.
• Communicate effectively with senior audiences and contribute to service offerings and thought leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, or related field required; MBA or MIS preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years of related work experience in Strategy Consulting for technology engagements preferred.
• Excellent business writing and communication skills.
• Experience in IT organization assessments, application portfolio strategy, enterprise cloud assessments, and roadmap development.
• Industry experience in Manufacturing, Services, Healthcare, Banking, Private Equity, or large Non-Profits a plus.
• Can travel as needed, up to 40%.
