What you will do

• Own end-to-end research process: problem identification, feature engineering, model development, deployment, analysis, and refinement.
• Develop, evaluate, and maintain ML and NLP solutions for sensitive data classification, clustering, text extraction, document analysis, and tabular data.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to turn data-security challenges into experiments and shipped features.
• Generate insights from large user data to enhance classification capabilities at scale.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, data analysts, and security researchers.

Requirements

• BSc in computer science, math, physics, or related field
• 5+ years as data scientist
• Experience with data pipelines and big-data analytics
• Solid ML foundations: classic ML (SVM, trees, clustering), neural networks, optimization, data handling, evaluation metrics
• Expertise in LLMs: prompt engineering/tuning, task adaptation (SFT, PEFT/LoRA), RAG, production deployment with safety/latency/cost controls
• 3+ years programming in Python or similar
• Self-learner, quick to adopt new technologies

Nice to have

• Experience in NLP
• MSc in computer science, math, physics, or related field
