Corporate Strategy Manager, Assistant Vice President (Private Banking)

What you will do

• Define and execute strategic priorities for Global Private Banking through market, competitive, and regulatory analysis.
• Identify growth opportunities, including new ventures, strategic partnerships, potential acquisitions, and capability-building initiatives.
• Develop hypotheses, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, and create actionable recommendations for senior management.
• Prepare board strategy papers, recommendation decks, and progress updates for Bank and OCBC Group leadership.
• Lead research workstreams, stakeholder interviews, client research, surveys, focus groups, expert consultations, and benchmarking studies.
• Manage cross-functional project teams across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, Technology, and Operations, including planning, KPI tracking, issue escalation, and implementation support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8–12 years of experience in consulting or corporate strategy.
• Mandatory financial industry experience; private banking or wealth management experience is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of private banking processes, risk management, systems, and relevant local banking regulations.
• Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and senior stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing confidential work and leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
