Location: On-site in Boston, MA. Must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

Salary: $150,000 - $215,000 (U.S. base salary)

What you will do

• Own architecture and technical direction of web experiences including Next.js join flow, Cloudflare Workers, and Stripe checkout
• Lead cross-functional projects from planning through rollout and analysis, partnering with Product, Design, and Analytics
• Design and execute A/B tests with proper instrumentation and data-driven iteration on key metrics
• Drive frontend performance, accessibility, and reliability across devices, setting team standards
• Write production-quality TypeScript/React/Next.js code integrated with backend, payments, and ecommerce platforms
• Mentor engineers via code review, pairing, and guidance; contribute to on-call, postmortems, and engineering culture

Requirements

• 5+ years professional frontend experience with deep expertise in TypeScript, React, Next.js
• Track record owning complex cross-functional web projects from design to production
• Strong web performance, edge computing (Cloudflare Workers), responsive design at scale
• Experience with payment systems (Stripe), RESTful APIs, third-party platforms
• A/B testing, data-informed decisions in growth/product context
• Observability tools (Datadog, Sentry, Amplitude); mentoring, communication in async environment

Nice to have

• Experience with ecommerce (CommerceTools), feature flags, subscription models
