TL;DR

Continuous Improvement Engineer: Driving measurable and sustainable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity across manufacturing operations with an accent on Lean transformation, model-line development, and shop-floor execution. Focus on leading Kaizen events, applying Lean tools like Value Stream Mapping and 5S, and building internal CI capabilities through coaching and training.

Location: 600 N. Baldwin Park Blvd, City of Industry, California (onsite)

Salary: $90,000 USD - $143,000 USD

What you will do

  • Support Lean Focus launch, model-line development, and ongoing Continuous Improvement roadmap.
  • Lead Kaizen events, rapid improvement workshops, and structured problem-solving using Lean tools.
  • Maintain shop-floor presence to identify waste, improve processes, and implement solutions with production teams.
  • Analyze data, track KPIs, and ensure improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency are sustained.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain on process optimizations and new standards.
  • Coach teams on Lean thinking, facilitate training, and reinforce a culture of operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement role.
  • Working knowledge of Lean principles and CI methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment with shop-floor presence.

Nice to have

  • Lean certification (Lean Practitioner, Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent).
  • Experience leading Lean transformations or Kaizen events.
  • Strong communication skills to influence without authority.
  • Bi-lingual (English, Spanish).
