Data Sales Intern - Year Round

TL;DR

Data Sales Intern - Year Round (Financial Data): Assist the Data Sales Group with day-to-day activities supporting data sales and distribution with an accent on handling inbound inquiries for market data, researching and maintaining the sales pipeline, and supporting client needs through the sales cycle. Focus on organizing industry event calendars, customer outreach and research, sales campaign management, Salesforce support, and providing analysis and reporting.

Location: Chicago office 2-3 times a week; candidates should attend a Chicagoland University; must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship (no CPT, H1B, F1, L etc.); 20-30 hours/week during school year, 30-40 hours/week during summer.

Pay range: $21.68–$36.10 (hourly).

What you will do

• Research industry events by region and organize into a calendar.
• Handle inbound inquiries, requests for data, and client follow-ups.
• Maintain customer outreach lists and coordinate event logistics and materials.
• Assist with customer research, survey management, and sales campaigns.
• Provide Salesforce assistance, analysis, and reporting support for data sales.
• Support Business Analyst projects and additional business initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong Google Workspace skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• High School graduate currently enrolled in a four-year college; pursuing Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Communications or related field; GPA 3.0+.
• Chicagoland University attendance; Chicago office 2-3 days/week; US work authorization without sponsorship.
