What you will do

• Build production-ready solutions and custom plugins using the Canvas SDK.
• Transform PRDs into maintainable code to solve complex clinical workflow challenges.
• Identify SDK gaps and contribute directly to platform improvements through pull requests and feature development.
• Architect optimal technical approaches in collaboration with Solutions Consultants.
• Create technical documentation, integration guides, and reference implementations.
• Mentor internal teams on SDK usage and technical best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience with modern web stacks.
• Proficiency in Python is mandatory.
• Experience with API design, event-driven architectures, and plugin-based systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills for ambiguous technical challenges.
• Must be based in the US to comply with healthcare regulatory standards (HIPAA).

Nice to have

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred).
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as FHIR and HL7.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, FDA guidelines).
• Prior experience in customer-facing engineering or solutions architecture roles.
