TL;DR

IT Support Engineer (Healthcare): Supporting end-users and operations groups with remote access technologies, laptops, servers, networking, and conferencing equipment with an accent on Mac/Windows environments (60/40 split) and ticketing systems. Focus on diagnosing and resolving issues, performing moves/adds/changes, and proactive maintenance to prevent problems.

What you will do

  • Support end-users and operations with laptop computers (Windows/Mac), remote access, 2FA, wireless access points, software installations, and license deployments.
  • Provide exceptional support for Mac OS and Windows environments, wireless devices (iPhone, iPads), and conferencing equipment (Polycom, Zoom rooms).
  • Manage Windows servers (AD, DHCP, DNS), perform moves/adds/changes for hardware, and track requests via JIRA within SLAs.
  • Deliver end-user training, preventative maintenance, inventory tracking, and document processes for self-service portal.
  • Liaise with Systems, Infrastructure, Security, and Engineering teams for cross-training and collaboration.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years relevant experience (1-3 years delivering end-user support preferred).
  • Extensive knowledge of MacOS, Windows AD, desktops/laptops, networks in enterprise environment.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (JIRA), mobile devices, VPNs, Apple products, MDM, video conferencing (Zoom), and asset tracking.
  • Professional, service-oriented with exceptional customer experience; work well in a team.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
