Technical Account Manager

TL;DR

Technical Account Manager (Open Source Databases): Serve as customer advocate and technical resource for dedicated hirify.global customers using MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB with an accent on understanding technical requirements and bridging to internal resources. Focus on coordinating support tickets, consulting projects, escalations, and driving customer technical success.

Location: Remote in Americas (Boston MA, Phoenix AZ, Seattle WA, Toronto, Vancouver); up to 25% travel; ability to pass background check required.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain relationships with primary contacts at largest, most complex customers.
• Coordinate status updates on support tickets and consulting projects.
• Work with Consulting Operations to assign resources and meet timelines for top customer projects.
• Co-own customer technical success with Global Services organization.
• Act as escalation point for support and consulting issues.
• Identify growth opportunities and provide feedback to Customer Success and Sales.
• Provide technical guidance, documentation, and ensure customer-specific docs are maintained.

Requirements

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• 3+ years experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL or MongoDB/NoSQL and related technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, work with people, and stay calm under pressure.
• Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial approach, ownership of incidents to resolution.
• Understanding of application-database interactions in various architectures.
• Exposure to DBaaS in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Ability to work remotely and travel up to 25%; pass background check.
