What you will do

• Support operational teams to identify hazards and manage risks in daily activities.
• Coach managers and supervisors on safe systems of work and behaviours.
• Assist with incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Support internal audits and external certification processes across locations.
• Maintain and improve QHSE systems, procedures, and reporting.
• Deliver training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to teams.
• Support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous experience in QHSE or HSE role.
• Experience in operational, industrial, or logistics environments.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) preferred.
• Working knowledge of UK health & safety legislation.
• Awareness of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
• Internal Auditor training (or willingness to obtain).
• Membership of relevant professional body (e.g., IOSH) desirable.
• Strong communication, influencing, and coaching skills.
• Practical problem-solving and ability to manage multiple priorities.
