Elastic Engineer with TS Clearance

TL;DR

Elastic Engineer (ELK Stack): Maintaining enterprise Elastic, Logstash, and Kibana instances for federal clients with an accent on data onboarding, content development, configuration, troubleshooting, reporting, and visualizations. Focus on designing multi-node clusters, implementing index lifecycle management, ETL techniques, and securing ELK solutions.

Location: Las Vegas, NV. U.S. Citizenship is required as this is in support of a Federal Customer.

What you will do

• Maintain and administer client's Elastic, Logstash, and Kibana instances in production environments.
• Handle data onboarding, ETL processes, content development, configuration, troubleshooting, reporting, and visualizations.
• Design, implement, secure, and monitor multi-node Elasticsearch clusters, indexes, shards, and analyzers.
• Manage reindexing, data mappings, JSON and KQL searching, Kibana dashboards, and Elastic CDM Dashboard.
• Collaborate with teams in DevOps and Agile environments, working closely with multiple customers.

Requirements

• Must have Elastic Engineer, Elastic Analyst, and/or Elastic Observability Engineer Certifications.
• 3+ years of Elasticsearch stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Beats, Kibana) experience in active production environment.
• Experience with common operating systems (Windows, Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL).
• Experience with data ingest, ETL techniques, multi-node clustering, architecture, health monitoring.
• Advanced understanding of hot/warm/cold data/index lifecycle management, Elasticsearch management, reindexing, data mappings, JSON/KQL, Kibana dashboards.
• U.S. Citizenship is required as this is in support of a Federal Customer.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Syslog daemon configuration (Syslog-NG, RSyslog).
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure).
• Development and API experience (Python, Perl, XML).
• SaltStack, Ansible, other automation tools.
• Hardware/storage experience (SAN, NAS), Git (GitHub, GitLab), Cribl.
