What you will do

• Build and evolve the foundations of backend and AI systems alongside the CTO.
• Develop backend services for existing and new applications in collaboration with mobile engineers.
• Contribute to systems design, infrastructure planning, and CI/CD processes.
• Implement scalable and reliable systems using Kotlin, Java, Go, or Python.
• Manage and integrate cloud services such as AWS, Supabase, and Cloudflare.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing and building high-performance systems used by millions.
• Proficiency in backend development with expertise in Kotlin, Java, Go, or Python.
• Experience working in product companies.
• Expertise in database design and scalable backend architectures.
• English proficiency required as it is the official team language.
• Must be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI, specifically applying models to real-world product use cases.
• Experience monitoring architecture using tools like New Relic or Datadog.
