What you will do

• Work with engineering teams to understand backend needs and ensure data persists in usable formats for front-end, middleware, diagnostics, and Deep Learning.
• Build deployment monitoring tools and manage blue/green or canary deployments for smooth launches without downtime.
• Create tools for transparency and ease of access into company's rich datasets across geographic locations and formats.
• Build scalable backend infrastructure using Python and Flask/FastAPI.
• Iterate and improve experiences for internal and external users, drive innovation, and solve issues creatively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in CS, EE or equivalent
• 6+ years of professional software development as backend engineer
• 3+ years with Python, extensive REST APIs experience
• Experience with data-intensive applications and microservices
• Fluent in Polish with advanced English skills (written & spoken)
• Flexibility in adjusting working hours for global time zone-diverse team (urgent tasks/meetings outside CEST)
• Startup mentality, team player, strong communication, presentation skills
• Previous success in large-scale web apps with user-focus
