Logistics Planner (Automotive)

What you will do

• Coordinate customer schedules and negotiate optimum demand levels based on current capacity.
• Determine delivery frequency with suppliers and establish effective communication tools.
• Maintain critical logistics data in SAP, including material masters, sales agreements, and forecasting.
• Manage internal inventory for raw materials, components, work-in-process, and finished goods.
• Develop and maintain accurate forecast data for product demand.
• Perform necessary on-site visits to customer or supplier locations.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) from a technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in Material Planning.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; sponsorship for non-immigrant and immigrant visas is not provided.
