What you will do

• Ensure compliance with export control laws in UK, USA, EC, Japan and other jurisdictions, tracking regulatory changes.
• Develop and improve Internal Compliance Program, policies, and QMS elements for export control.
• Manage full lifecycle of export licenses and authorizations, including applications and renewals.
• Classify technologies/commodities, code documents, and coordinate secure distribution with teams.
• Conduct audits, produce reports, deliver training, and advise on export control risks.
• Liaise with authorities, clients, and third parties; support tenders and continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• Experience with export control legislation, ideally in civil nuclear specification defining 'Technology'.
• Proven stakeholder engagement skills across communications, technology, and change management.
• Strong influencing, motivational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems using theoretical and practical methods.
• Adaptable, organized, with good communication skills to explain technical to non-technical audiences and meet tight deadlines.
