Senior Food Auditor

Location: Anywhere in Belgium on a hybrid basis, with 30% remote work and client-site visits. The role is associated with Antwerp, Belgium.

What you will do

• Verify food-industry management systems independently or as part of an audit team.
• Examine and assess quality management systems and contribute to improvements in clients’ food management systems.
• Conduct audits for key accounts and act as a sparring partner in account management.
• Provide food technical leadership as a subject matter expert.
• Deliver high-quality client service while ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements.
• Support client collaboration and the development of assurance services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in food processing, food technology, or a related food-industry discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in food production and technology, quality management, and food safety.
• At least one third-party auditing qualification in IFS Food, BRC Food, IFS Broker, Logistics, or BRC Packaging.
• Leadership, management, and stakeholder-management experience.
• Very good communication skills.
• Excellent spoken and written Dutch and English are required; French is preferred.

Nice to have

• Additional qualification in ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000.
• French language skills.
